VAS Networking Services CEO/Founder

The Agency Founder/CEO Valerie Silas, was born in Shaw Miss., where she spent most of her childhood. She is the youngest of seven. Valerie migrated to Chicago in 1980 with both parents and 6 siblings. At a young age, she developed a strong sense of devotion in helping troubled Youth in the community. In 1995, she started a group home fostering DCFS wards with behavioral issues. She saw a dire need to change the mindset of the Youth in the community, so she started mentoring the youth by giving them cleanup jobs on the block where they lived. Valerie created VAS Networking Services a 501c3 social service organization, so she can continue to provide life tools and guidance for the Youth and young adults in the community.
